Etisalat Group, the leading emerging markets telecommunications group, has signed an international frame agreement with CommScope for the infrastructure vendor to provide its best-in-class wireless solutions to Etisalat’s operations.

The agreement positions Etisalat to upgrade its wireless networks and deploy new technologies across the Middle East and Africa, including LTE in selected markets. CommScope, a global provider of connectivity and essential infrastructure solutions for wireless, business enterprise and residential broadband networks, will supply base station antennas, filters, high quality coaxial cables and connectors and other radio frequency (RF) network solutions as part of the deal.

It is also indicative of Etisalat’s ongoing pursuit of innovation through partnerships.”

Etisalat’s operating companies span the Middle East, Asia and Africa and are at various stages of information and communications technology development. These operations will greatly benefit from access to CommScope’s top-of-the-line solutions.
