We recently caught up with ARRIS Racing driver Daniel Suárez for a rapid fire interview. If you’re a 
NASCAR fan, you probably know that Daniel's the first Latin American driver to race full-time in the XFINITY Series—and also the first to win it! But did you know that he speaks Portuguese and can’t live without sushi?

What are you most excited this season? Competing full-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The competition is tough, but I think I’m doing pretty well this so far!
Who has mentored you through your racing journey? My dad and Jimmy Morales (Director of NASCAR México).
What do you like to do in your spare time? I own VW Beetles and enjoy working on them every chance I get.
What’s the best advice you have ever received? Always give your best, because there is someone who is always working harder than you.
What do you do to prep for a race? I watch a lot of movies of past races and talk to my crew chief and teammates.
What is your favorite movie? The movie “Driven.” I can watch it over and over again especially when I travel.
Name your three favorite foods? Sushi. Sushi. Sushi. :P
What’s your biggest pet peeve? People driving slow in the left lane.
What other languages do you speak? English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Are you used to being a celebrity yet? No. I don’t think I will ever get use to it. :P
What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas. It’s a chance to spend time with my family in Monterrey, Mexico who I don’t see often because of my busy career.
What’s the last picture that you took on your phone? A pic of myself working out at the gym.

What’s your favorite tech gadget that you absolutely cannot live without and why? My cell phone. It keeps me connected to the people and things that matter most.
Do you like to surf the internet? If so, what do you most commonly search for? Yes, with a great connection, I can spend all day looking a vintage cars.
What’s your favorite online video game? NASCAR 2017. If you haven’t played yet, definitely, check it out!
